Fee relating to Settling Foreign Currency Transaction in Local Currency	Customers may sometimes be offered the option of settling foreign currency transactions in local currency overseas or with online merchants located overseas. Such an option is a direct arrangement offered by overseas merchants and not the card issuer. In such cases, customers are reminded to ask the merchants for the foreign currency exchange rates and the percentage of handling fees to be applied before the transactions are entered into since settling foreign currency transactions in local currency may involve a cost higher than the foreign currency transaction handling fee.

$^2$ Platinum application fee is waived if the account balance of financial assets is above US$10,000 during application. Annual fee shall be charged at the start of 2nd and subsequent year and waived if the average account balance is above US$10,000 for the prior 12 months. The same waiver condition applies to additional cards.

$^3$ World application fee is waived if the account balance of financial assets is above US$30,000 during application. Annual fee shall be charged at the start of 2nd and subsequent year and waived if the average account balance is above US$30,000 for the prior 12 months. The same waiver condition applies to additional cards.

$^4$ World Elite application fee is waived if the account balance of financial assets is above US$100,000 during application. Annual fee shall be charged at the start of 2nd and subsequent year and waived if the average account balance is above US$100,000 for the prior 12 months. $^5$ World Elite Metal application fee is waived if the account balance of financial assets is above US$200,000 during application. Annual fee shall be charged at the start of 2nd and subsequent year and waived if the average account balance is above US$200,000 for the prior 12 months. $^{6}$ Each Pre-Trust Custodial Account and Trust Account is entitled to a maximum of 4 additional credit card applications.
